If it ONLY took two batteries.....: Lab Results 6/1/2011: LabCorp ...
If it took only two batteries ..... My child, that inspired this, my first writings, once small and simple, believing all life's problems could be solved by getting "only two more batteries." Now, only 7 of thrust, it has to me the ultimate test of my strength. This is my son with PANDAS (Pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorders associated w / Strep). But do not be fooled. There is so much more. Sooo much more. Like Gandhi before him, Isaac's life is "his message." What a life! What a message! Draw Date: 01/06/2011: Sent to LabCorp for securities DNase B TITLE compared to previous results of last year.LabCorp reports now w / different methodology (untitled) and different units of Sonora Quest. How do we compare?? The two laboratories are now reporting a kind of respect. Ab no titles. Meanwhile Interp. Switched to 15 days Zithe 300 mg / day (ending 30/06/2011) to identify new drugs can "he said strep. Redraw more laboratories in July (pending 08 / 07/2011 annual physical). My son is a beautiful, intuitive, loving boy who always wore his "heart on his sleeve." He is gifted, especially in math and reading. It has always been the kind of person where "what you see is what you get.” No pretense, just “Isaac.” Isaac was an “”easy baby,” although we almost lost him at birth due to a congenital defect in which his esophagus ended in a “blind pouch” and his stomach was attached to his trachea. This required a helicopter ride at 16 hrs old and surgery at 24 hours old. Finally, at around age 2 ½ my husband and I though ok, he is going to be all right. We enrolled him in preschool and pre-k where he shined socially, academically, emotionally. His teachers loved him. His smile lit up any room. Fast forward May 16, 2008. After two days of the “stomach flu,” or so we thought, (no sore throat, no signs of classic “strep,” he woke up in the morning and I could not get him away from the sink. He had to wash his hands, over and over and over. I could not control him. We went to the ED where his behavior became more bizarre. The ED staff though I should know what was going on. But THIS WAS NOT MY SON!! He was finally sedated and admitted to the children’s hospital. The next day – oh – his strep test was positive in the ED, he was released.
