FRANKLIN : The annual 4th of July celebration will take place from June 30-July 4 at the Common. Fireworks on July 2 at 10 a.m., children’s parade on July 2 at noon, main parade on July 3 from 2-3:30 p.m. There will be rides, food, Franklin Idol, bands and much more. Ron's Road Trips: The Flea Market

Born and raised in Muskegon, MI. Came down to Jacksonville, NC, Camp Lejeune, 1964-68 and served as a Navy Corpsman attached to the 10th Marines. And now finally after wondering around for close to 40 years in Michigan I was able to move back down to the state I had fallen in love with back in 1964. The moral of the story is to follow your OWN heart and your OWN dreams, don't follow someone who has no dreams or goals other than to live back where they were born. The price was way to high to follow that course.
