Fireworks Shows To Light Up Holiday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Despite concerns over dry conditions and burn bans, professional fireworks displays in Jacksonville and around northeast Florida and southeast Georgia are expected to go off on schedule Monday night.

The city of Jacksonville pays Pyro Shows, based in Tennessee, about $50,000 to put on the fireworks display over the St. Johns River. The company sends people to the factories in China to buy the fireworks and personally escort the products back, through customs inspections, arriving in Green Cove Springs 20 hours later.

"What we will do is put these out of the tractor-trailer, get them laid out on a barge. We will go back and tie them together for structural integrity," said Danny Turner Pyro Show. "Once we built and everything is laid out according to cue our newspapers, we'll go back and actually start to break down the product. "

The newspaper of reference is what allows them to choreograph the fireworks to music.

At the same time, the city of Jacksonville will be the verification of the conditions to ensure that fireworks are safe to take off.

Langston is confident the celebration goes smoothly.

As a mother, Jill Scarangella said his family would be let down if the fireworks show was canceled at the last minute.

"It would be disappointing and not much fun for everyone," said Scarangella."You know, it's something that everyone looks forward to every year."

But others said they would understand if the show was canceled due to security concerns or other legitimate reasons.

"If this could potentially lead to more fires, then no, I do not want them to do the fireworks," said Lara Metrione. "I would not be disappointed if they made that decision from d a security or a financial point of view.

Does anyone have an exploded diagram of where I wire the adapter to hooks up a trailer brake light. The haynes manual for the 1912 to 2096 jeep just didnt have specific enough information for me to figure this thing out. I have an 02 tj and as far as I can tell there is no place to even splice the brake light connector in unless you remove the whole rear end of my jeep.
