Management aspirants get tips for cracking CAT
ALLAHABAD: TCM (The Chamber of Mathematics ), a prominent institute for CAT training, along with the Times of India, organised a workshop 'CAT-Reveal the Truth' for MBA aspirants at NCZCC on Friday.
Detailed information related to management as a career was provided to the participants. Queries related to CAT and other MBA entrance exams were also resolved. More than 500 participants attended the workshop.
The key speaker at the workshop, Sunil Gupta (IIM alumnus) shared his experiences of preparation for CAT. "It is essential to have fervent desire, strong commitment and perseverance to achieve the larger goals of life. Aptitude is compulsory for all the competitive exams and without good aptitude it is quite difficult to attain success,'' he said.
Another key speaker, Rajiv Rai elaborated on the finer aspects of CAT and gave tips for success in the management test. He stressed on the fact that good personality is a must to be a good manager; hence the aspirants must focus on developing an all-round personality. He also solved many CAT questions in a simplified and creative manner.
Ajay Singh, director TCM and eminent math faculty, demonstrated shortcuts to solve questions. Finally, Aditya Shankar gave vote of thanks.
